Elle by YSL reviewed

In this brave new world of celebrity fragrances we have to take a step back one moment and look at how the experts do it. When people say "what does Britney Spears know about fragrance anyway" they are thinking of YSL/Channel/Dior. The classics. This month YSL release Elle. Comparable in gravity to Dolce & Gabbana The One last year, this is a fragrance that won't be here today gone tomorrow but will gain its own following, sets its own style and will evolve through generations of campaigns. This is the start of a new sub brand.

Launched by Coco Rocha in a stunning YSL suit she oozes glamour and sex appeal. According to YSL she is bold, unique, unpredicable, feminine, seductive whilst bold. A modern parisian woman.

The fragrance notes are peony, lychee, pink berries, freesia and jasmine. With bottom notes of patchouli, vetiver and amber :-). Unlike fragrances of a lesser lineage this brings forth a floral elegance.
